Golden Eagle

One of California’s most majestic birds of prey returned to the wild in Las Trampas Regional Wilderness on May 2, 2014, after eight months of treatment and rehabilitation at the UC Davis California Raptor Center.

The young female golden eagle was fitted with a small backpack GPS transmitter with solar recharging.
